This Privacy Policy explains how Visual Naam Jap Counter handles information when you use this website or contact us. The counter is designed so that your chanting history and preferences can remain in your browser instead of being attached to a user account.

Information stored in your browser

The website may save your selected naam and language, session count, timer state, daily activity, streak history, custom Naam Store entries, writing and visual preferences, colour theme, and devotional-image display choices in localStorage.

If you choose a personal Guru or Deity image, your browser processes and compresses it on your device before saving the resulting image data in localStorage. The current website code does not upload that image to a remote database.

Your control over local data

Local data stays in the browser profile and device where it was created. It does not automatically sync to another browser or device. You can remove it by clearing this website’s stored site data in your browser. Private-browsing limits, browser removal, storage cleanup, or device failure may also erase it.

Hosting and analytics

Like other websites, the hosting and internet infrastructure used to deliver these pages may process basic request information such as an IP address, browser type, requested URL, date and time, and security events. The hosting provider may retain operational logs according to its own security and retention practices.

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the website and to improve it. Google Analytics may process information such as pages visited, interactions, approximate location, browser and device details, referring pages, IP address, and online identifiers, and may use cookies or similar technologies. Google processes this information according to Google’s Privacy Policy.

Google Analytics is not used to store your chanting history, session count, personal images, or custom Naam Store entries. Those counting features use browser localStorage as described above. The separate feedback page embeds Google Forms as described below.

Feedback through Google Forms

The Give Feedback page embeds a form hosted by Google. When you load or submit the form, Google may process your response, device and browser information, IP address, and other technical data according to its own policies. Depending on the form settings and your Google sign-in state, Google may also associate information with your Google account.

We use submitted responses to review feedback, investigate reported issues, and improve the website. Do not include passwords, payment details, health records, or other sensitive personal information. You can review Google’s Privacy Policy before using the form.

If you email us, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, name, message, and any technical details you include.
